US President Donald Trump arrived the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the US First Lady Melania Trump. The Saudi Arabia visit kicks off an ambitious international debut for Donald Trump and he is the only American president to make Saudi Arabia, or any majority Muslim country, his first stop overseas . . .
This is Trump’s first stop of his maiden trip abroad and he received a regal welcome on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, feted by the wealthy kingdom as he aims to forge strong alliances to combat global terrorism.
Trump arrived in Riyadh after an overnight flight and was welcomed at elaborate airport ceremony punctuated by a military flyover and a handshake from Saudi King Salman. Billboards featuring images of President Donald Trump and the king Salman of Saudi Arabia emblazoned with the motto “Together we prevail,” dotted Riyadh’s highways, freeways and Trump’s hotel was bathed in red, white and blue lights and, at times, an image of the president’s face.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, rolled out the red carpet treatment in anticipation for President Trump and Melania Trump’s arrival early Saturday morning. Trump and Melania will be staying at the palatial Ritz-Carlton hotel in Riyadh.
The Ritz’s decor features gold fixtures, a large lobby and other features similar to Las Vegas hotels. This is very Vegas, if you ask me. The luxury hotel projected portraits of Trump and King Salman onto the building, both images stretching five floors each.
After visiting for two days and meeting with officials of his host country, Trump will head to Israel, have an audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican in Rome and meet with allies at a NATO summit in Brussels and the Group of 7 (G-7) powerful nations in Sicily.
