The President gave the revelation while speaking with Nigerians in the United Kingdom on the side-line of the Supporting Syria Conference in London.
He had last year ordered all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government to adopt the Treasury Single Account or face severe sanctions.
The directive was specifically to promote transparency and facilitate compliance with sections 80 and 162 of the 1999 Constitution.
President Buhari had berated the past administration for operating several accounts with which they siphoned money belonging to Nigerians vowing not to relent in the fight against corruption.
